She is estimated between 10 and 12 years old. She came to us originally as a stray but the owners were found. Due to circumstances out of their control, they were able to keep Layla and her brother. They released Layla and her brother to our rescue.

The meaning of my name:
Normally, Hooks Home Bound Rescue names each dog after a fallen tow truck driver, "Hook." However, I had a name before I came into the rescue because I was chipped and my owners released me!

Thanks to Hooks Home Bound Rescue, I am now up to date on shots, fixed and the registration to my micro-chip is with them.

Layla would do great in a home of her own. She needs a yard to play in and explore. She is a little shy on a leash but does great after some time. She also does great in car rides when buckled in properly. Being a seniour dog she has learned respect but is still alert enough to let you know someone is at the door.
