Dewbie is a great BIG boy that loves to be around his owner. He is house trained and will tell you when it is time to go out! He knows what it is to be inside and loves to walk around the outdoors. He does great on a leash and walks with patience. He will do great with all ages of children since, even though he is large, he is super gentle! 

Dewbie just wants a family to call his own!

My Rescue Story

Hooks Home Bound Rescue received the call about this big boy from our trainer. The trainer advised us that his previous owner had issues with Dewbie. His owner was stating that Dewbie would be uncontrollable when it came to leash walking, Barks out of control, barks at any new person around, is fearful of new people, no house manners, and can not be around other animals..

After a few weeks with the rescue these issues became no longer a problem. He does like to tell you what is wrong though when you do pay attention. 

The meaning of my name:

Hooks Home Bound Rescue names each dog after a fallen tow truck driver, When they do not have a name when they come to us.

Dewbie came to us with his name!

My Medical Status

Thanks to Hooks Home Bound Rescue, I am now up to date on shots, fixed and the registration to my micro-chip is with them.

Compatibility Status

I would do great in a home with a large yard. It is not recommended that the home be an apartment or have a small yard apply for Dewbie as he is so large. I get along with other dogs. I love to play, jump on the bed, and give comfort to my owner. I am chill but i am not overly active. Give me a chance and I will prove to you what a great dog I am.
