Volunteer Department
Volunteer Department
The Volunteer Department covers all our volunteers, may they be in this department or any other department. Volunteers assist us in every aspect of our rescue. Working in the Volunteer Department, you will have access to volunteer files for other volunteers, help coordinate and work events, help adoptions, assist and cross-train with other departments. The individuals here ensure each department is running to the best of its ability.
Foster Department
Foster Department
The Foster Department becomes one of our Pride and joy departments. This Department is all of our great fosters and those volunteers who handle their files. Fosters give our dogs that are getting ready for forever homes, a temporary home to learn and thrive in a family setting.
Our Foster Department provides all that is needed for our Fosters to care for the Foster animal in their home.
Adoption Department
Adoption Department
The Adoption Department processes all adoption paperwork and interviews in finding that perfect home for each of our pets. This Department is committed to ensuring anyone interested in adopting our pet is a perfect fit and the pet is a perfect fit for the home. The Volunteers and staff in this department process paperwork, perform customer service to the public, and do home checks.
Animal Welfare Department
Animal Welfare Department
Animal Welfare Department is one of our hands on departments that thrive on personal contact with our animals. These awesome individuals handle everything for watering, walking, bathing, training, and educating those on proper ownership of each of our animals. Each individual is certified in the "Safer" Assessment program by the ASPCA. Some are in training to be a certified Trainer, from basic training all the way to service dog training. This includes CGC training.

Our Services Department volunteers are customer service based volunteers. These awesome individuals assist our rescue, and the public, get the low cost services they need for their pets. This Department can handle anything from helping schedule vet visits, transport, sales of products in our Hooks store, Request Spay and Neuter Vouchers from the county level and more. This Department also assists the public in scheduling visits with other departments for their home and their pets.

Financial Department
Like every business, without a strong Financial Department money can get all mixed up and the business may not survive. This Department strives to keep all financials afloat and in the Black. These volunteers are numbers based and able to handle taxes and high volume of reporting. This Department over sees all actions and expenses in every department.
Marketing and Advertising Department
Marketing and Advertising Department
Marketing and Fundraising department volunteers are those idea thinkers to promote the animals and rescue as a whole. This group of Promotional think tank volunteers are who comes up with the designs, t-shirts, and other items that make the Rescue look great in public eyes. This group of volunteers also head up our awesome fundraisers.
SDMO Department
SDMO Department
Those Volunteers that are trained and understand the towing industry fall into our SDMO Department. These individuals push for Tow Truck Driver Safety and Safety of all our volunteers. This awesome Department reaches out to the Towing industry and memorialize those that have fallen, promote "SLOW DOWN MOVE OVER" laws and push to promote safety for those in the towing industry. Remember in the United States alone a Tow Truck Driver dies on the job every 6 days.

The Board of Trustees over sees all departments and ensures all legal matters are the utmost importance in the rescue. These positions are voted on by the public. You may volunteer your ideas and ask questions to the Board of Trustees here.
